First, it can’t be compared to This Is War because both albums are completely different yet you can clearly hear IT IS MARS on LLFD, you know it’s them, but this new album has a different vibe and mission, to put it that way. It’s very orchestral, has some epic electric sounds, like Inception, i love the effects on Tomo’s guitar and the drums. For me this is the best Jared’s voice has sounded on any album, there’s more passion and the lyrics are more obscure than usual. It’s not electronic nor hardcore punk rock whatever, it’s the same Mars as always and this is exactly what i wanted Mars to do after This Is War. Every single song has its story. The whole album is epic and must sound amazing live. Also you can hear Shannon and Tomo are singing in the background in some songs!
